09 Jan UN Counselor Kerstin Palmer in Africa
Years ago, I met Kerstin Palmer in Boulder while we were both doing a bunch of trainings.
This past year I got a note from her. She’s in Africa having decided that it was time to do something different. That got her interested in applying to the UN to be a counselor in Africa. Within months, she had been accepted, closed her practice in Denver and left for Africa.
Kerstin writes a blog which shares her experiences. It’s definitely worth reading. Here’s what she wrote about a day and a half in her life in Southern Sudan.
