Not being a very good math person I was struck by the following quote:
????“The hardest arithmetic to master is that which enables us to count our blessings.”
~ Eric Hoffer
I’m resolving to spend this next week counting my blessings. My life is already full, yet I see how I can squander that joy, that love by being fearful, distressed, awkward, hesitant, anxious.
Training the mind requires us to focus on where we want to go rather than the arising patterns that keep us from living as happily as we could.
I’m humbled by the quote.
