Contemplative movements to release and receive

Today being Independence Day in the US I decided to explore Freedom!!! In the video I’m suggesting a gentle contemplative movement to facilitate releasing and open up receiving. What kind of freedom are you reaching for? Freedom from triggered responses? Freedom to enjoy life more fully?

And most importantly, does this gentle practice allow you to release and receive? Post a comment below so I can learn from you.

    Deirdre,

This video was really helpful in the practice of receiving the nourishing opposite. It’s often hard for me to visualize and have a felt inner-body experience. The push/pull movements helped my body to release the trigger (tension, resistance) and feel the nourishment that I was trying to bring in. Movement plays an important role in my life, so I’m not surprised this helped to enhance and deepen my practice with learning to receive and cultivate the nourishing opposite. I could feel the energy that I was wanting to move out and, conversely, feel the energy that I wanted to move in.

    Thank for you this.

That’s great, Ryan. I like how you’re connecting it to the nourishing opposite. Isn’t it cool when we can feel/sense the shifting in energy? Thanks for the note!
