I Am Loving You

I Am Loving You

Over the weekend I was attending a workshop given by Allan Schore in Portland, Maine.  Deb Dana was the person who has organized Allan’s workshop and had it in this beautiful location.   I loved the bathrooms that had wall-to-wall blackboards, although it was a bit unsettling to find one cabana (aka “stall”) with the words “I am watching you.”   Luckily the hosts had provided a wonderful tin of chalk and erasers.  Easy enough to cross out the one word and put the real intention down.

On a more serious note, if you’re in New England and want to have a easy-going yet intellectually stimulating learning Deb Dana and her crew at the Island Institute for Trauma Recovery have a variety of workshops to explore, many of them on neuroscience.  Their website is getting configured; in the meantime you can contact Deb Dana, LICSW at 207-571-3008 to get on their mailing list.

I’ll be there March 3-4 to present a workshop for therapists and healing professionals on the Becoming Safely Embodied Skills.  It would be wonderful to meet up with you there.
